Step 2: Create Your First Classroom

From your Teacher Dashboard, click "Create Classroom" and provide:

Classroom name (e.g., "Mrs. Johnson's 3rd Grade")
Grade level
Subject area (optional)

You'll get a unique classroom code that students use to join.

Step 3: Add Students

Students join using simple aliases—no email required:

Student chooses a username (e.g., "alex_the_explorer")
Enters classroom code

Students access the platform via /student/login using:

Username/Alias: Simple, kid-friendly name (no email needed)
Classroom Code: 6-digit code you provide
Optional Password: For added security

Can I use this with remote/hybrid learning?

Yes! Students can log in from anywhere with internet access. Perfect for homework assignments, remote learning days, or hybrid classrooms.

How do I handle student passwords?

Students can set optional passwords during signup. You can reset them from your teacher dashboard if students forget.

Can I see individual student work?

Yes! View each student's completed stories, comprehension scores, and time spent reading from your analytics dashboard.

What if I need more than 30 students?

Teacher Pro allows 3 classrooms (up to 90 total students). For larger needs, contact us about School License options or purchase add-on seats.

Can I share classrooms with other teachers?

Currently, each teacher account manages its own classrooms. School Licenses can have multiple teacher accounts for team collaboration.
